Why is this administration ignoring the fact that Iraq and Sadaam (even though he’s now dead) had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the attack on our country that brought the twin towers down?

Remember Osama who is hiding in Pakastan? How do we handle him - we pull troops out of Afghanistan and now want to esculate the attacks in Iraq. All the while the Taliban are resurging and actually building schools in Afghanistan!

Senator Dorgan (D-ND) made an impassioned speach on the Senate floor to remind everyone who actually attacked the U.S. Here is an excerpt of that speech:

Let me read something that Mr. John Negroponte, the Director of National Intelligence said last week. He testified before the Select Committee on Intelligence, and here is what he said:

Al Qaeda is the terrorist organization that poses the greatest threat to U.S. interests, including to the homeland.

Al Qaeda is what poses the greatest threat to our interests, including our homeland. Then he went on to say this. This is again John Negroponte, Director of National Intelligence.

Al Qaeda continues to plot attacks against our homeland and other targets with the objective of inflicting mass casualties. And they continue to maintain active connections and relationships that radiate outward from their leaders’ secure hideout in Pakistan.

He then goes on to question why al Qaeda has been allowed to run amuck unchecked everywhere but in Iraq (if they are truly there in the first place). Does anyone hear anybody talking about Osama bin Laden anymore?

Why do these Republicans have their heads up their asses? Didn’t the election speak loud and clear to them and this brain-dead “Resident” in the whitehouse the voices of America? How many more targets are we going to hand-over to the insurgents in Iraq? How many more young kids are going to have to die for this idiot? Are you willing to sacrafice your child for a lie?
