Ron Paul could be the answer the Republicans may not be looking for. Although I don’t agree with everything that he says, he’s the only Republican candidate that can bring the GOP back to it’s true core. For far too long the Republicans have accepted as it’s policy the views from the extreme far-right including extremist religious views, and neo-conservatives. All the rest court the far-right and are more neo-conservatives and not real Republicans.
Watch Congressman Ron Paul during the debates on LiveLeak.
YouTube also has a complete section for Ron Paul.
If I were a Republican, this is the candidate I would be watching - all the rest are no more then Bush Supporters and Apologists who aren’t interested in America but only their own self-serving interests.

Why is it that the Rich Republicans never get plundered by their “haircuts” or their “expensive cars” and their incomes or who they represent (corporations and the rich). Imagine if the “liberal media” spent more time reporting on the Republicans then on Democrats.
Gulliani - multimillionaire, East Coast, big-city, thrice-married presidential candidate said his most recent music purchase was opera, his favorite fitness activity, golf, and added that he doesn’t drive - he navigates.
McCain - launched his political career by marrying into a wealthy and politically connected family, and then promptly ran for Congress, revealed that he has pet turtles named “Cuff” and “Link.”
Romney - the son of a governor, who has a net worth of around $200 million, whose own campaign staff was concerned he is seen as not tough enough and that his hair looks too perfect … said that if he weren’t running for office, he’d probably be chief executive of an auto company and that his staff boasted that the difference between him and the current president is “intelligence.” (although that wouldn’t take much)
Then after complaining for years about “Liberal Hollywood” - they get a celebrity to wink at them and the Republicans all gush like little girls! Fred Thompson is now their baby - a man who once rented a red pickup truck in order to campaign in Tennessee as a man of the people, and the fact that he was chauffered in that pickup! The pickup was, literally, a rented prop designed to help a wealthy actor/Washington lobbyist/trial lawyer play the role of salt-of-the-earth populist. But do you hear any of that in the media?
Well they take all this and spin it into something it’s not, like Al Gore when he was reported to have said that “he invented the internet”. This phrase is something Gore never ever said - but you’d never know it from all the spin in the media and the GOP apologists.
I just wonder what it would be like today if all this mess we are in was a Democrat President that lied us into a war all the while ignoring the real culprits, promoted his crony friends into positions of power and only allowed those who support his disasterious policies to have any say in the direction of this country?
I guess I’ll never know.
